My prediction: The main conclusion that will be drawn from the Large Hadron Collider experiments is that they need a larger collider to find the answers they are looking for (regarding black holes and the big bang). Why is this? It is because the search for infinite anything (or infinitessimal anything) is doomed to failure. Real machines can't find mathematical anomalies.
In other news, European astronomers have announced the discovery of the oldest galaxy yet, which happens to be the farthest from Earth. UDF-38135539 was created only 600 million years after the Big Bang. However, they use red shift data which I have shown to be faulty in my article Big Bang. Using this false red shift idea, I predict that someday a galaxy will be found that was created before the Big Bang. For more interesting information, see my article Big Bang Philosophy.
The Laser Interferometer Gravitational Wave Observatory (LIGO) is upgrading it's facilities because the gravitational waves it was looking for didn't appear. The upgraded facility will not detect gravitational waves either. The LIGO experiment assumes that gravity is a distortion of "space-time" and therefore gravitational signals propagating through the universe are distortions of space-time propagating through the universe. By measuring this assumed distortion, LIGO assumes gravity waves can be confirmed. However, gravity is not a distortion of space-time (see "Philosophy" tab on this web site). Space-time distortion is a mathematical consequence of Einstein removing the dimension of force from a theory that studies force. Space-time does not distort. Gravity is a force.
Physics today has become a business to acquire money doled out by governments. Government bureaucrats don't understand physics and are easily fooled by misguided scientists. Physics publications have also prospered under this confused system. This is the same situation that existed in the time of Newton, Copernicus, Galileo and all the other great thinkers throughout history. There are people who are genuinely interested in furthering the science, but they must contend with those who make bad decisions or use science to agrandize themselves. If you are a student of physics, then you should know that enrollement of students into the physics profession is dropping (see Jean-Pierre Luminet, "Is Science Nearing Its Limits?" , arXiv:0804.1504). The decline in the understanding of math and science in students in the USA is a well documented educational problem that has been going on for decades. The immensely complicated false sciences being taught today are partially responsible (black holes, big bang, string theory, metric expansion of space, dark this and that...this list goes on and on). If the best physicists in the world can't make sense of these theories, what do you think this looks like to students? To help fix this situation, physicists must methodically document the effects of the idea of the constancy of the speed of light into the physics that does work (Newton's). Until this is done, I predict that no more great discoveries will be made and Physics will continue to decline. I am trying to make a start in this regard. I hope others will join me.
